Fedora 7 test1 をゲストOS にしようと思い立つ。インストールは普通に完了。でも起動後ゲストの負荷が低くてもホストのCPU使用率は100%。あとそれと [Install Guest Additions] を押しても CD-ROM が無反応で、ゲストにドライバなどが入れられない。/opt/VirtualBox-1.3.2/additions/VBoxGuestAdditions.iso をコピーしたUSBメモリを挿してみても無反応。最終手段として適当なアップローダーにアップロードして、それをゲストOSでダウンロード。アホらし。

# ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run

Please install the GNU compiler on your guest system.

# yum install gcc make kernel kernel-devel
# reboot
# ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run
# reboot

やっと終わった…と思ったら、再起動後 X Window System の画面が超巨大化→縦縮小横長→超巨大化を繰り返してホストOSを巻き込んでのフリーズ状態に。でも何とか system-config-display のモニターと解像度の設定画面が出てきて一安心。マウスカーソルのシームレス移動は諦めた方が良さそう。フォルダ共有は # mount -t vboxsf で出来まるけど(SElinuxは無効)、ファイルの移動がプロトコルエラー

# cp test.txt /mnt/hostfs
cp: writing `/mnt/hostfs/test.txt': protocal error

しかし、再度同じ名前のファイルを /mnt/hostfs にコピーすると上手くいく。新規ファイルの作成は変でも上書きはできるみたい。
